2020 ELECTIONS: "I will be surprised if NDC gets less than 8 Seats in Ash Region" - Brogya Gyamfi
Mr. Ernerst Yaw Brogya Gyamfi a Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said he will be surprised if his party the NDC attains less than 8 parliamentary seats in Ashanti Region come December elections.
Explaining the reasonale behind this disclosure, he said the NDC is optimistic that with measures been implemented by party leaders in Ashanti Region over a period time in opposition, it has yielded positive response and they as a party are confident of winning more parliamentary seats thus, Ashanti Region come December polls is a fertile soil for the NDC.
Speaking on Adom Tv Badwam, Mr. Ernest Brogya Gyamfi lauded efforts of the NDC leadership and members for their hard work towards achieving power and emphasized how people in Ashanti Region have come to realize that, its not about the mass number of voters a party should have but rather developmental projects that seeks to address the needs of the people.
"Every eligible voter should consider opportunities that will improve their standards of living as well as the development of the country and that is what the NDC has to offer, hence, am very positive about NDC's performance in Ashanti Region come December polls " he said.
However, Hon. Collins Owusu Amankwah, Member of Parliament for Manhyia North responding to Mr. Ernest Brogya Gyamfi said , the NDC will loose massively against the NPP because they have proven to be a better option than the NDC when it comes to developmental projects in the region.
"NDC should stop giving false hopes to themselves because they will loose massively again in Ashanti Region. NPP has numerous projects we are executing and moreover, the people of the region are living testimonies of the good works of our government and cannot be told what to do by the NDC" Hon. Collins Owusu Amankwah added.
