ENDING OPEN DEFECATION: EJISU AKYEREMADE GETS ULTRAMODERN 30 SEATER TOILET FACILITY
As parts of efforts in ending open defecation and improving sanitation in Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region, the NPP parliamentary candidate for the Ejisu Constituency, Lawyer John Kumah together with the MCE of Ejisu, Hon Beatrice Serwaah Darkyi has commissioned an ultramodern 30 Seater Toilet Facility in bid to enhancing sanitation at Ejisu Akyeremade.
Lawyer John Kumah who double as CEO of NEIP said the Municipal over the years has been challenged with issues of poor sanitation and open defecation due to lack of toilet facility hence, the approach in building a toilet facility for the people in the Constituency to improve sanitation standards.
The first ever lavatory built is to help achieve goal 6 of the sustainable Development Goals which categorically States we must ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
The facility is a 30 seat capacity for both males and females with 10 bathroom and 2 storerooms, this is one of the 30 ultramodern Toilet he builds in the Ejisu Constituency.
The Municipal Chief Executive of the Ejisu Municipal, Hon Beatrice Serwaah Darkyi said the ultramodern toilet facility commissioned is a prove of the NPP government delivering their promises to foster growth and development thus, the call on all eligible voters in the Constituency to give the government another term.
